Yowsers! 6 months in a nutshell...

WOW!! Here we are at the end of the year! Yowsers! I can't believe it, but as I look back over the past six months quite a few things have happened.   Deep breath, here we go.

Summer slipped away

Summertime seemed like it was over before it really took off. Bogey spent a good portion of it with his Father as his health was failing, and that is time that he would not have changed nor would I have asked him too. My father in law Ralph B. Bogenshcutz II passed away in mid July. But as I stated before my husband along with his brothers were able to have some quality time with him which I beleive is one reason he held on longer than the one to two weeks the doctors predicted. Nothing can compare to the love recieved from family and friends.

We celebrated his life in Kentucky with my husbands family.

In honor of his father Bogey decided to take advantage of this time to hit some of Ralphs favorite spots in the North Kentucky/Cincinnati area.

Fall just Flew

Well if you judged solely on the weather I don't know if Fall truly arrived on (maybe more toward Dec). Daniel started 2nd grade this year and so far so good! He has a wonderful teacher, Ms. King has such a heart for teaching:) I had the pleasure of meeting his class to celebrate his birthday. They are a great group of kids.

I almost forgot Daniel started Cub Scouts this year.

Daniel's birthday was a blast! He had a Star Wars party, and since it was October we made it a cosutme party. All in all I think it was a fun time:)

Savage Opress aka Danny boy;)

Just like the past few years we were joined by our "Village" family and went to the Mickey's not so scary Halloween Party. We dressed the kids up as characters from Peter Pan. A big shout out to the sewing mommas in our crew, they made it awesome:)

My two boys were Tick Tock (the Crocodile) and Michael Darling.

I love that we are all able to spend some time together and make fun memories.  I cannot begin to express what these friend have meant and continue to mean to me and the family.

Our Neverland crew!

Fa la la la la.....
Christmas was wonderful (as always). We were able to hit the Parks for some of the holiday stuff (Although I didn't get to see the castle as much as I had like too, but there is always next Christmas).

The Boys~ Holidays around the World@ Epcot

Bogey's brothers came down and it was nice to share the holidays with them. I worked the week up to Christmas Eve. Because of this they had not had time with out the little guys so I suggested they spend Christmas Eve day together.  This also gave me some time with the boys solo:)   So while Bogey, Ralph, and Pete spent some time together the boys and I went to Magic Kingdom to enjoy some of the holiday entertainment. We even recieved a surprise moment with Santa:)
We love Santa!

On Christmas we lounged around all day and that evening enjoyed our annual Chritmas dinner at Kobe with the Camps.  Ahhhh I really do like this day:)

Who is Us.....

.....well, We "officially" became a family April 6th 2008.

Enjoying life the three of us (Bogey, Daniel, Myself)  we were. Then in Early August we found out we were expecting a baby.  Jackson was born May 1st 2009.

Our trio now a quartet has been filled with fun, challenges, joy, laughter, tears, tantrums, but most importantly love & respect.

If I had to be honest I'd have to say I have days when my life is ehhhh, but I can deal with that because I LOVE my family and they love Me.  I feel blessed because of these three amazing people God put in my life to cherish.

I love you Bogey.  I love you Danny boy.  I love you sweet Jackson.
